My yorkie chihuahua mix, Spencer, is a wonderful little man.
He is not at all like the temperment described, he loves people and will do anything to be around them.
He rarly ever barks, although he is very pampered, so he may not feel the need. He only barks when he plays hard.
Spencer does not like to be outside before morning light or after dusk. He refuses to step onto the grass if he can’t see it.
He is very bright and easy to train as the description says. My favorite is telling him to “show me tummy” and he rolls onto his back, laying spread eagle! Soooo cute!
Spencer does not like it when I scold him and will spend 15 to 20 minutes rolling over and doing tricks to try to get me to touch him, he does not win, but it’s really hard, because he’s so adorable.
I do find that he pees alot, and I can only assume it’s because he’s so small,he does have alot of accidents on my carpet.
Not that he doesn’t know where he’s to go, but because he either can’t get there fast enough, or he walks right past the pee pad.
I am finding it hard to find clothing to fit him, as winter is coming and he will need protective wear.
I am also having a hard time with his need to chew cardboard, wicker and wood. any suggestions? Sorry no pics yet but will send asap.
LUV MY LITTLE MAN!!!

chewing
Our Chorkie also chews everything, we simply bought a basket full of
chew toys of which he uses regularly.

chorkie chewing
Our chorkie has a chewing problem also. We have to watch her constantly because she go a hold of the kids silly putty and that made her belly pretty upset. Lately I’ve been going to our local farm store and getting dried pig ears for her to chew on. Unlike rawhide chew toys they don’t get slimy and smelly. She loves them and since they are hard it takes her about 3 or 4 days to chew thru one and at about a dollar each it’s much cheaper then replacing kids toys, my decorator baskets and just about anything else she can get her tiny teeth on.
