Hi all, I need some advice.
Just brought home our new little yorkie puppy.
She is 8 weeks old, she is eating wet food from a tin but wondered how long to keep giving her puppy milk?
Any help would be appreciated!

Feeding puppy Milk at 8 weeks – No No
Stop the milk right away. get some dry food, Science Diet puppy food and start her on that….

Milk, NO
Puppy chow is the best, when I brought mine home he was not so big and hungry all the time, now he has been fixed, which was another great decision and he weighs about 7 lbs and he is a year old now. He is handsome and full of it.

Dry food
Switch to dry food, better for yorkies teeth. Start by mixing dry with wet and slowly remove wet from diet. I feed my girl royal canine.

You should…
You should start with dry and mix wet food with it,then once you start taking the wet food out add some warm water then do it normal dry food.
I use Taste of the Wild ,Salmon for mine but they are not puppy’s they are between 2-6 years old. It’s a great food tho and tho it’s bigger they gobble it up and they love it,but of course I have wet food in it and a bunch of other good things for them.
I had trouble with Innova they were itching but that could just be mine, because other people’s yortkies love it so try a few different foods and see what she does best with like if her poops are messy switch to something else and see if she starts scrathing then do something else just see what she likes best and that she doesn’t scracth when she eats and nice poops. Good Luck finding the perfect brand!!!

Same Problem
I just brought home a 9 week old yorkie two days ago! Hes the cutest!…The lady I bought him from sent home a bag of the puppy food she was feeding him. But, hes not eating it. Ive even tried putting it in his mouth, and he only spits it out. So, I softened it…still he turns his nose. So I mixed it with some chicken and rice baby food…he licked the baby food but would not touch the dry. SOOOOO…I broke down and gave him some wet puppy food from purina. He ate quite a bit of it last night. But today, hes being picky again and is turning his nose. Ive been giving him some puppy formula about every 3 to 4 hours to keep up his sugar. HELP!
