I am bringing home our newest family member, a 4-week-old male yorkie.
His owner has been feeding him kibbles & bits mixed with milk because his mother no longer wants him to nurse.
I would appreciate any help on feeding and just keeping this baby well.

Keeping Yorkie Healthy
Get food made for a Yorkie. I buy Royal Canin. They also make puppy food.
My Yorkie is almost three. I got him about three months ago and he had been eating Purina burger something.
He was a picky eater, throwing up, and sometimes not eating at all.
He has been on the Royal Canin for two weeks and what a difference.

Fresh food
petsmart has a product in the refrigerator section called Fresh Bites. It is human grade food and the dogs love it. Since your little one is so small, I hope you bought Nutri-Cal high calorie dietary supplement to keep from hypoglycemia. How much does he weigh at 4 weeks old? That’s kinda young. Xxoo little pup.

Infant Yorkie
First thing find a vet that specializes in toy breeds. There is a product on the market called Esbilac, essentially it puppy f.ormula that can be fed with a special bottle (found at pet stores). Keep him warm and clean with lots of cuddleing. Just make sure you get a vet’s advice.
